When my friends started having kids, I wanted to create a special gift for the whole family, something that wouldn’t be outgrown, that they could hold onto forever.

So I set out to make each child’s favourite baby blanket.

I envisioned vivid colours and playful scenes.  Drawing on my career in animation and puppets, I used depth, texture and shadow to bring the scenes to life.  I wanted to created gifts that reflected who I was, that took the love I was feeling and delivered it into the homes of these excited young families.

I call them Modern Heirloom Blankets, a treasure to be cherished and loved and passed on to the next generation.
